"A phenomenal songwriter, who will take place into your melancholic
heart". Beautiful Freaks
Andrea
Liuzza (1983, Venezia) is a D.I.Y. musician, a heavy reader and an
occasional photographer. He home-records all his music, playing all
instruments.
His debut album, Countless Ways For Pressing Flowers (2006), is a trip
in a wonderland of folk psychedelic ballads, minimal piano pieces and
electronic sketches. The CD-r has sold more than 350 copies all over
the world, without a label.
In 2007 Andrea collaborated with
8 international videomakers, releasing a videoclip for each Countless
Ways songs and exposing them into his personal show Elephant Serenade
(Verona, It).
In 2008 he has home-recorded Melancholia I, extremely honest songs of
love and despair. The legendary Goodfellas (Lisa
Germano, Daniel
Johnston, Michael
Gira, Vic
Chesnutt) has found and distributed it into italian shops.
In 2009 Andrea collaborated with the theatre group Musa
Fragile, and published a remake of his early song Elephant Serenade
with the label Canebagnato.
Andrea is actually working on
new music and a new (secret) project, for the first time with a band.
